Our gallery’s exclusive series already repeatedly drawn the attention and recognition of the trade from abroad: a great example is the Air Corridor, which was picked up by renowned websites and artistic portals, right after its debut. It’s is one of the most popular collections among our visitors also, so we’d like to introduce these creations in this short article.

Hlinka Zsolt used the also quite known series of the hundred year old houses as his starting point, where he placed the capital city’s buildings in a new point of view, he formed them into some kind of ducts toward the sky. The specialty of the images, that this way the objects lose their original functions and decompose into structures and rhythms, meanwhile they guide the viewer into an alternate reality.

Air Corridor – beyond the 360-degree confinement – is even more open to the sky, and transforms the buildings into corridors, instead of pipes. The artist creates breathtaking compositions with their distinctive aeriality while playing with these unique spaces. In terms of design, it varies widely: some pieces of the series are angular and rigid, while others are rounded and gently undulating.

How to install?

The photographs are extremely dominant and attract the eye: therefore you should provide them with sufficient space!

A good choice for example, would be a central wall of a room often used as a living room or bedroom, but because of their elegant appearance, they would be an excellent addition to meeting rooms and offices. 

They can stand on their own, but a composition of three-pieces would achieve a truly stunning effect, but for this, really massive wall surfaces are required. In general it can be said that the creations command a large wall size, because in miniature, they lose their special atmosphere and the detail of their design. It is recommended to supply the photographic prints with acrylic surface due to the latter, which provides more intense and deep colors to the image.
