Scandinavian simplicity: but how?
One of the favorite styles in interior design is the Scandinavian, because it is clean, orderly, yet homey, and most of the apartments are easy to equip with their elements. But what exactly are these and how to create them? Our Scandinavian crash-course is coming!
1: White, White, White
The features of the interior are the large white walls that dominate mostly the entire apartment. Their story is simple: in the Nordic countries, the days are shorter, so the sun is shining less, therefore it is absolutely necessary to smuggle some light into the homes. It is a common misconception, however, that white walls create a rigid effect and these internal spaces can’t be made pleasant and harmonious: the essence is precisely in the consciously created balance.
2: Smart material, color and pattern selection

3: Don’t go easy on the pictures!
When you enter into a gallery, and it is difficult to make a decision about which artwork you want to bring home, the Scandinavian interior has been invented for you! In this style, you do not have to give up on your favourites, the huge white walls invite you to cover them with smaller or larger images and series. For the theme, nature-inspired photographs are a good choice, with the reminiscence of the above mentioned organic forms in the textiles.

Scandinavian homes are characterized by freely sprawling green plants that are bright spots and lively elements of discretely colored spaces, so it is desirable to place many of them at different points of the home.
