One of the exclusive series of our gallery, Auditorium, was enormously appreciated: the pictures presenting the Hungarian theaters won the first prize in the prestigious international competition in the professional architectural photo category!

The winner was selected through several rounds. From all over the world, a large number of applications were selected from candidates who were eligible for the main prize: in addition to the prize money, the title for the “Professional Fine Art Photographer of the Year” and participation in the official exhibition, the winner also gains presence in the international press.

In the center of the Auditorium is one of Zsolt Hlinka’s favorite topics, symmetry. The bustling points of cultural life in Budapest are presented in a new perspective: from the stage, empty! Theaters can thus be seen in a state that an ordinary visitor rarely has the opportunity to: details and architectural solutions become truly emphasized, thus the interior disintegrates into shapes, waves and colors.
